Big Tuesdays in June Primary Time

This Tuesday we are primed and ready for these votes in 12 states. Some of the highlights are the fate of two Washington incumbents that include a two-term senator in Arkansas and a six-term congressman in South Carolina. In Arkansas the runoff between Senator Blanche Lincoln Bill Halter, we want the devil we do not know because anyone who voted for healthcare should go down. This will also be more evidence of the strength of the tea party movement. The biggest name needing to go down for Healthcare is Nevada Democrat Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader. We will find who of the three Republicans is going to take him on. The tea party favorite Sharron Angle seems like she have the inside track. We also have interest in California where Meg Whitman looks to be Governor and Carly Fiorina to challenge Democratic Senator. Barbara Boxer. The South Carolina governor race has four Republicans to choose from State Rep. Nikki Haley has the backing of the tea party and Sarah Palin in her bid to become the state’s first female governor. Georgia there is a runoff to fill a vacant House seat in a Republican district. Maine voters will choose nominees for governor. Iowa has a three-way Republican primary for the right to oppose Democrat Chet Culver. There are also primaries in Montana, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota and Virginia. Since today is day 500 of the President Obama administration it is amazing how he single handedly brought the republican party back from the abyss of 2008.
