That it Paul Tell them how you feel

If you have not heard about Maine Republican gubernatorial candidate Paul LePage it will not be after this news cycle. LePage told a group of fishermen at a GOP forum that he will not be afraid to tell President Obama to “go to hell.” LePage, a tea party candidate tried to back peddle a little saying that he regretted the words he chose Sunday in the small coastal town of Brooksville. He did say he was true to his words as he was not going to back down on his criticism of the administration for what he describes as free-spending, anti-business policies. The exact quote which was recorded by democratic operative was “As your governor, you’re going to be seeing a lot of me on the front page, saying ‘Governor LePage tells Obama to go to hell,”‘ as you can imagine the remarks were responded with huge applause. LePage, takes aim at the easy to poke Obama administration, saying federal spending is driving up the national debt. The bottom line is recent polls show LePage leading a five-way race for governor over opponents Democrat Libby Mitchell and three independent candidates. The reason people applauded is because he is saying what everyone feels. It maybe the wrong approach to tell the commander and chief to go to hell, but if no one ever takes a side, no one know what you stand for. This is also a time in this country where you need to speak up now or prepare to pay the price without recourse.
