No Chance Ms. Speaker

We new there would be fun times watching the defeated Democrats start to turn on each other. It seems there is a growing number of the rank and file says they will not support House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a politically symbolic roll call when the new Congress meets in January. This is a response to the immediate postelection announcement that she would run for minority leader. We thought for sure she would fade away but she has not so we are waiting to see who will step up as her opponent. The party elections are scheduled for next week, although a postponement is possible. The big show is going to be on January 5 when the election for speaker happens a few hours after the House convenes for the first time. This has turned into an event as a member of each party is nominated, and then each lawmaker is then called by name to stand and declare a choice. This could be also Democrats trying to distinguish themselves from their liberal leader; you really cannot blame them as after the election a lot of Pelosi foot solders Democrats went down in defeat. This is refreshing logic from democrats whom realize that after the election change is needed. It is typical of Pelosi to think she can just go back and do the same thing over again.
